The bill (Reg. No. 11072), submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers, suggests specifying the names of officials entitled to “make protocols and consider cases on administrative infringements connected with violations of fishery and fish stock protection rules”.
The bill stipulates a new version of article 240 “Bodies of Fishery Conservation” of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements and amending article 255 of the Code.
The Committee members believe that adoption of the bill will promote rational use and protection of environment and cease violations of legislation in the sphere of environmental protection.
